I started working at Safety First Fire Prevention in July 2018. I didn’t know the company at all, but since they offered an interesting administrative assistant position, I took a chance. I began as a receptionist for the 3 branches, also handling document correction and client mailings. Now, I also hold a position in billing. I love my job and I love the atmosphere at Prévention incendie Safety First. I feel like I have a second family when I’m at the office. It’s clearly one of the company’s greatest strengths.
In a few words, for me the atmosphere at Safety First Fire Prevention is: Comfortable, friendly, cooperative and healthy. I have been working as a Technician at Safety First Fire Prevention since January 28, 2019. The flexibility regarding my schedule at SF is exceptional. It was super easy to adjust my working hours to be able to drop off and pick up my son at daycare. For me to feel good at work, it goes without saying that the people I work with have to be great, and that’s the case at Prévention incendie Safety First, whether it’s my colleagues, my dispatcher or my manager. I am currently the only female ‘Tech’ at Safety Quebec. I believe I might have been the first woman hired as a ‘Tech’ at Safety Quebec. I am proud to break stereotypes, even in 2023. At first, I was a bit hesitant when I had to do inspections in ‘shops’. Since then, I’ve gained confidence, and now everything is fine. Working at Safety isn’t just about having a job; it’s about finding a second family, developing skills, and discovering that it’s possible to have fun while working.
